Prophet Muhammed (SAW) – The Best Example for a Leader
Prophet Muhammed (SAW) has been the greatest man who ever existed on the face of this earth. His true character was a perfect example of gentleness, humbleness, and kindness. He has outclassed everyone in patience and strength of character. People like Muhammed (SAW) are very hard to find as perfection is always difficult to achieve. A perfect human being with outstanding character makes him the most loved person. His followers truly idealize him in almost every way. From being a loving father to the most caring husband, he has set the standards very high for the Muslims to follow.
Apart from these characteristics, he was a great leader. Muhammed (SAW) was very strategic in his approach. He used to lead from the front and showed bravery in all his leadership skills. He fought battles with the nonbelievers and emerged as one of the best leaders for the Muslims. It would not be wrong to say that he put all his energy and strength to make the Muslims rise with glory.
As written in the Quran:
“There has certainly been for you in the Messenger of Allah an excellent pattern for anyone whose hope is in Allah and the Last Day and [who] remembers Allah often.” [Quran, 33: 21]
This verse tells that Muhammed (SAW) has been chosen the leader for Muslims and He is the last Messenger of Allah. His charismatic character depicts the leadership qualities he had. He took the role of a captain on a ship, a Commander of Armed forces and a CEO of a company today. He made sure that all the areas were covered first before he took any big decisions. Some of his decisions were not very welcomed but later on, they proved to be the best ones. An example is the Treaty of Hudaibbiyah which looked to favor the Muslims but eventually, the Muslims benefitted more.
Muhammed (SAW) was a brave man and he never backed down from his goals. His mission was to enlighten people about Islam and he ensured that Allah’s message was reached to all parts of the world. His life was in danger as some of the leaders of that time didn’t want Islam to progress and the nonbelievers denied the message of Allah so they threatened to kill him. He didn’t move an inch back from the goal he had to achieve. He stood firm and made sure that his followers see a true example of bravery and steadfastness.
These qualities made the most influential person today and it is hard for some people to believe but this is exactly what Muhammed (SAW) was. Many great leaders have passed but there is not a single one like Muhammed (SAW). No one had the charisma and ability to win hearts. Muhammed (SAW) won hearts and convinced people to follow him. Today he has billions of followers who truly admire their leader and consider him the most influential and brave leader.
Islam flourished under the leadership skills of Muhammed(SAW) and he spread Islam in a very peaceful and gentle way. For more details, go to Islamic Sharia.
