Prophet Muhammed (SAW) – the Most Influential Personality
Prophet Muhammed (SAW) has been one of the most influential personalities of this world. He was a true example of honesty, truthfulness and kindness. There has not been a single other person who can match to such a great man. He was perfect in every way and Allah chose him to spread His message in the whole world. He started with a few followers and today he has more than 1.3 billion people. This didn’t happen overnight but with a lot of struggle and hardships, he was able to spread the message of Islam.
Prophet Muhammed (SAW) was a very truthful and trustworthy person. He was given the titles of Sadiq and Amin which means truthful and trustworthy respectively. Never in his entire life, he uttered a lie or given any deceit. People used to trust him with their belongings and he always kept them with utmost care and caution.
Muhammed (SAW) came at a time when there was little respect for each other. Only the wealthy and powerful were given respect and were considered important. The oppressed ones were slaves and women who were not given any rights. Daughters were buried alive as they were considered a burden on her father. Muhammed (SAW) asked his people to leave all heinous activities and follow the path of truth which Allah has shown. People in the beginning didn’t follow him as they were not ready to leave their old practices. He still didn’t lose hope and carried on his mission for which he was chosen by Allah. He was thrown out of Makkah due to this but didn’t back out. His determination and devotion to Islam made him succeed in his mission and today he has billion of followers. He spread the message of truth and showed people the right path.
Muhammed (SAW) led by an example and his life can be taken as an inspiration by mankind. He was a loving husband, a devoted father, a kind friend and a humble man. He gave respect to everyone and never treated anyone harshly. He gave women their due respect and asked his followers to treat them well too. The slaves were given a good status and the rich were asked to help the poor. There were laws defined which gave rights to everyone including neighbors, friends, relatives, children, wives, parents and other Muslim brothers and sisters.
Muhammed’s life has been the true reflection of Islam. He practiced the teachings given by Allah. He set a good example for the whole mankind to follow. He followed whatever is written in the Quran and showed his followers how it is done. He urged Muslims to pray at least five times a day, fast in the month of Ramadan and give charity. He always wanted the rich people to help the poor ones so that prosperity is brought in their lives. He led a very simple life and didn’t run after money or worldly things. He emphasized on simplicity and told his followers that Allah likes His people to lead simple lives without ostentation. His teachings are the best for every Muslim to follow.
